Haworth McCall Consulting is a busy structural and civil engineering practice co-located in Brighton and Belfast.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic structural engineer keen to take the next step in their career. This person will be working towards being Chartered, with the Institution of Structural Engineers. The successful candidate will:

  • be experienced in producing practical and cost-effective structural designs in timber, concrete, masonry and steel.
  • be able to deliver projects on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • be competent in the use of AutoCAD and Tekla or Masterseries. Revit skills are an advantage.
  • have a minimum of 3 years design experience with a consulting structural engineering practice in the UK or Ireland.
  • be an excellent communicator – both in writing and face to face.
  • ideally have experience in minor civils design.

We’re looking for a talented structural engineer to join our team in Brighton. This person will be working towards being Chartered, or already Chartered, with the Institution of Structural Engineers. The successful candidate will:

  • be skilled in producing practical and cost-effective structural designs in timber, concrete, masonry and steel.
  • Demonstrate experience of managing and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
  • be skilled in delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • be competent in the use of AutoCAD and Tekla or Masterseries. Revit skills are an advantage.
  • have about 5 years minimum experience with a consulting structural engineering practice in the UK or Ireland.
  • be an excellent communicator – both in writing and face to face.
  • ideally have experience in minor civils design.
