Following remediation of this former landfill site in Lewes, Haworth McCall provided the structural design for a reinforced concrete framed apartment block, houses and load bearing masonry apartments. Haworth McCall collaborated with the project manager and architect to produce efficient, buildable structures, specifically designed to protect the environment by cantilevering walkways, for example, to avoid excavations close to trees.
